I have had no barking problems with Lucy so far, however, I followed advice on here and as much as her bark is adorable I discourage her barking. When she does bark (like when the doorbell rings, etc. I just tell her "thank you" and that's enough. She is at home during the day with our two cats (who treat her like their child) and she hasn't yet gotten destructive. I just make sure she has her toys.
