I sort of had the same situation but mine was for diffrerent reasons. My old boss told me I never smiled and they said I had bad posture. Well guess what? I HATED that job. So I quit workign there and all of a sudden I stood up straighter
and smiled more
. I am not suggeseting that for you. Like I said I didnt smile because I hated my boss and my job. And besides why smile? I was underpaid and had NO benefits( not even holidays off) and its not like I ever actually dealt with customers. I worked at an accouting office. What was there to smile about? They made me so mad everyday
. But now I am my own boss
. There's something to smile about
