There are some really great RAW folks on here - so I hope they chime in. "ChickenDido" told me her dogs did terrible on ground bc dogs tend to gulp ground meat instead of chewing/tearing, which is one of the main goals of feeding raw. Also, she says that grinding makes the meat much, much more susceptible to bacteria - so diarrhea might have a red carpet there.
Although, if you feed it partially frozen (and you froze it immed. after grinding it), you may get the chew/tear method in that way. I'm not much of a help here, but thought I'd toss in nonetheless.
