I have this problem with Otis. Oliver stands back, but Otis is wild, and he would be gone. I thought I was the only one with signs on the door. I had a roommate for awhile that was a flight attentdent so she had luggage to pack up every time she flew. I was a nervous wreck that he was gonna run out while she held the door open for her suitcase. My sign says... Watch for Otis...he's a runner! I always pick him up. I haven't had success in training, but maybe I'm not diligent enough.
