My advice is to get another one
I have 3 and when I leave the house they are fine.
Sorry I have no advice because I got Timmy and then a week later I got Mimi. My kids were on summer break so Timmy wasn't home alone for that week. I just got Lilly about 2 weeks ago. They keep eachother company so I don't have to worry about one of them crying or barking...although they can bark all they want because this is their house
