I am not familiar with MI weather but who wants to walk in the dead of heat Maybe during the mornings and late PM would be perfect so you and her won't be too hot. But being that she is just a puppy, you know you cannot walk her yet as she needs to complete her shots . . for her safety until then, you can definitely walk her around your house on a dress/vest with a leash so she can get familiar with it

A vest or a dress works . . it is just a matter of preference Just make sure that the dress is a harness dress, not just a cute dress
