Hello, all!
Recently, we have been leaving Sadie (now 4 months) in her pen at night to sleep. She is doing really well, and she loves her bed in the pen. We give her a small treat, pet her, turn off the lights, and say "goodnight" and she knows to stay quiet. HOWEVER, in the morning when she wakes up, she goes into a crazy barking frenzy, and nothing will quiet her down. She does not bark/squeal this way except in the morning. We had heard that ignoring works, but on one morning, she howled for 2 hours, drank some water and rested for 15 min, and continued for another hour with no signs of stopping. Any advice?
