Buddy was on an antibiotic for three weeks recently and those pills
were made for a horse! I darn near passed out when I opened up the
bottle. I could not use any dairy products for that lengh of that time so
I just opened the capsle sprinkled it on his food and throw the capsule
away. Other times I have buried a small pill in cheese or a piece of
sliced chicken or turkey.
They do make pill pockets as a treat for dogs. They can be purchased
at the vets' or in a pet store. Buddy does not like them
