While I don't think it's far that she is using the one picture without permission, I don't think it's THAT bad. Maybe if you emailed them, they could explain themselves. Because they are from another country, there was some confusion with the language barrier.

Well, I wouldn't pay her anything for a painting of my own dogs. She used them as modelss and is profitting from it so she ought to at least give the owner of the dogs free ones.
