Default I have to be honest!!!

Ok I have to be honest here. The reason why I joined this group was to advertise the small dog apparel I make. Someone from the Yahoo groups told me it was a good place to do that so I did.
I have learned so much about my little Lacy from here that I am very glad I did. There were so many questions I wanted to ask but wasn't sure so I have had so many questions answered from this site.

Lacy is 5 months old now and weighs 5 pounds 4 ounces.

She was supposed to be teacup size. Now although I will love her no matter what size she becomes, I am hopiing she stays on the small size.

The fur has been a bit of an issue for me. Because I couldn't take her to the groomers until she had all her shots, she has been a mess. I did clip her about 7 weeks ago as her fur was just far too long and incredibly thick.
She seemed very thankful afterwards. Now I am trying to groom her again but I really don't know what I am doing. She hasn't had her rabbies shot yet so I can't take her to a groomer still. I clip Keesha another dog we own but she is a Schnoodle and her fur is completely different. Having the long fur on Lacy isn't practical because we live in the country and go for all kinds of walks through the woods. I have tried to put those bows in her hair but she just can't wait to get them off her as soon as possible.

Sooooooooooo today I am attempting to groom her. I will show you a before and after picture later.

She is a total joy and as courageous and loyal as can be. I am shocked by her absolutel courage. She stands up to both our dogs and Chelsea is an 80 pound shepherd. She has incredible hearing and alerts me to any noise.

The fact that they think they are a 100 pound dog is so obviously true.
I am not sure what is going through her mind but she must think she's huge.

She keeps up with both dogs when we go for our walks. Sometimes we go for an hour and she's a real trooper and usually doesn't quit. I bring along a doggie purse so she can take a rest if she gets tired.

Anyway I just wanted to take some time to let you know how Lacy is doing and I'll post some pictures later.
We all love her to pieces.

Nikki and Lacy
