We live about 15 min. away from Disneyland so we hear fireworks evey night at 9:40 pm! It's more faint than the local 4th of July fireworks but I'm hoping since they are used to Disneyland that having the sound louder will be taken with a grain of salt.
On top of that, we just had the Space Shuttle land in CA and we got the Sonic Boom and they did ok with that too. They barked and ran to the door but calmed right down.
