I don't give Frankie anything other then his eukanuba & rice, chicken. NO TREATS. I believe it's not necessary and it's not really healthy for any dog.
Before Frankie got sick, we didnt know any better and fed anything you can imagine....people food, peperoni sticks, cesaer dog food.. and it took him 1 1/2 until it affected his pancreas. Now he is completely healthy...and the only times he's had a bad stomach again was when he had greenies, or picked up something he wasn't suppose to eat. |
yeah he had to have a plasma transfusion and everything it was bad.
Ibd is inflammatory bowel disease. None of our dogs get treats at all and we did the same as you - pupperonis,etc and it hit him at 2 years old - it was horrible and never want to go through that again
