Stacy, that would great! She really only bites when I try to put the harness on and off. I've tried taking it slow and praising and kissing her throughout. But I'm beginning to think that she's scared that she will choke or that I will hurt her. She is 17 weeks, and she was a total ankle biter and chewer. I didn't want her to bite even if it's just a puppy thing. So I began using bitter apple spray. A couple of times when she bit, I dabbed a drop of it on her tongue. It only took two times of that for her to stop biting. Now if she starts, I show her the bottle and no more biting. But it doesn't work with the harness. HELP! She is really small too so I don't want to hurt her while I'm putting it on. |
