your pup was most likely sedated if she didnt like being groomed tried to bite or wouldnt hold still when they are waking from sedation they are scared and will bite they shake their heads from side to side vocalize and are disoriented it takes them hours to awake fully from being sedated but if that was done you should have been informed also if they sedate they arent supposed to have food for awhile before or it could make them vomit i hope your baby will be ok and i would call and ask them if they sedated her
