Most of us use/d neutrogena oil. I just started using the Emu in the last 2 months and love it. It doesn't seem as oily as Neutrogena. And Mary is right that the Emu dries out faster, but I love how it leaves the hair. Now my two females I had to go the 3 cups of water to one capful Emu oil since her hair is so straight and fine. I just kept working the % till I got what worked best for her. But then I wash them every 4 days. I do add a little in my palms and rub together and then apply straight to the hair in between if needed. I have noticed it may depend on the weather and our situations/activities.
Would be nice if there was just one thing that worked on all dogs at all times and in all conditions. Would make our lives so much easier. LOL
