I do know the PH differences. Remember the yorkie coat is likened to human hair, very little differance. But, being a show breeder and very particular on what I use on my show coats and these dogs get bathed every day on a show weekend, which can be up to 5 days in a row. I've had no problem with using the products I use. The only product I don't use is , other than the clarifying shampoo, due to the polymers and silicone is Panteen, that used over a period of time can destroy a show coat.
