Yeah, I was surprised when a couple people asked me what kind of dog Cody was- and when I answered, one guy was like, oh, he must be really young then. I'm like, haven't you ever seen a PUPPY?! A 3 month old is not going to look the same as a 2 year old in any breed!

Some people say, "oh, I've always wanted a little dog like that" and I wonder if they don't know what kind of dog it is... and others will come up to me and say, "oh, I've always wanted a yorkie." I have to admit though, the only place I had ever seen a yorkie before we got Cody was on the t.v. for dog shows.

I know what you mean! sometimes I just want to take Cody for a walk without having to stop for every single person we meet on the sidewalk. If they don't stop and give Cody attention, he pouts, but I can get him to keep moving. Once someone stops and starts talking and petting him and letting him give puppy kisses, it's all over and impossible to get him going again because he acts like he wants to go with them instead! Sometimes I think he likes the idea of being with new people more than he likes being with us! I have to admit, Cody looks really depressed when people just walk right by him on the sidewalk though

like we don't give him enough attention when we're with him 24/7
