Hmmm... I have tried pouring (not just spraying) water on Ellie to stop the constant barking which doesn't work. She is very persistent. When we go to the petstore especially she gets wildeyed (she is not well socialized), excited and won't pay ANY attention to me at all. I have to hold her the whole time (so she won't use the bathroom on the floor) and when I do she kicks and scratches to get down and when people or animals get too close she barks or growls. I guess its a diaper until she can behave herself.
