I'm not sure, but have you ever read some of the books by Dan Brown? He wrote The DaVinci Code, but he has several other great books. Angels and Demons was really good (it's kind of the prequel to The DaVinci Code, but it doesn't really having anything to do with it). And he also wrote Digital Fortress and others.
