Absolutely right.
I would like to add that it is a big responsibility where you have to be prepared that you could lose your little pet in the process.
If you go ahead anyway and breed her, how would you know if she is in trouble before or during or after whelp to know when to find help? Did you know that even the best vets cannot always save the puppies and/or dam when things go terribly wrong?
How much do you know about the background of your female, what genetic problems she may not exhibit herself but could be inherited in puppies? Is she the best representative of the breed that you would be contributing to the breed by breeding her rather than just having puppies?
Are you prepared to be be home from several days before due date and until the puppies are at least a week or more old especially for a first time mom? Can you be up every 90 minutes 24/7 for days on end if there is a weak pup or mom can't or won't nurse? And then deal with the likelihood after all that that you lose one or two pups anyway despite your efforts?
I think you would be better off to have her spayed and enjoy the pet you have that you bought her to be, a pet for you.
