My Abbie had a reaction to royal canin but it wasn't until she had been on it for 3 months. She kept getting diarrhea, too. Max never had a reaction to it. Maybe you just switched foods too quickly, which may be the reason she's having a reaction to it. Try mixing her old food with the royal canin for a while so that you're gradually introducing the new food to her.
