This is what I have at this time. I just got off phone with my daughter. She said that the way the nurses and doctors were talking that yes Mikey has Menigitious(sp?). But they had to wait for the results to come back for sure. When they took the spinal fluid out of his back Friday night it was yellow and cloudy sure sign of Menigitious. The nurses and doctors are wearing gloves, gowns and masks when coming into the room and it is a room that is all glassed in. My daughter does not understand why her husband and her do not need to wear these things. I told her because she had been in contact with him so they must think that they will not catch it. The nurses and doctors also asked if either of them had a cold sore. If so he could have the herpies virus in his brain. This would have gotten there by ways of the incision from his brain surgery. Well it just so happens my son in law came down with a cold sore a day or two before all this happend. If that is the case then he will be in the hospital for over 2 wks on powerful antibiodics. so far no change he is fighting the breathing tube and tries to cry but he has so much going down his throat my daughter said that he can't cry. He has a feeding tube and the breathing tube which is making it all difficult. I am going to try and at a picture of him to this post. I am not good at this at all so I am sorry if i can not do it. I will update when I know more. Thank you all for so much support. You all are wonderful people.
