Crate I have a metal crate. I believe the measurements are something like big enough to turn around but not potty, 4 inches from the top of the head to the top of the crate. Many have a divider that allows puppy to grow so you do not have to buy repeatedly. Since puppies need food and water 24/7, allow for him to sleep but still be able to get to food/water. Some people, esp those who are pee pad training arrange so the door can be left open to eat and potty and then return unharmed to the crate. Others use a playpen. At first they need to go potty very often, all night, so if you are unable to do that, suggest you get an arrangement that allows for travel out of the crate and back again without getting into harm's way or trouble. |
