I know what you mean but I think he was probably just making sure about everything before he commits to buy. I know I have bought something (an iPod dock/speaker/charger) off eBay that was said to be new, blah, blah, blah. I asked about it to double check (and have the sellers own words to fall back on) and when I got it, it wasn't as mentioned in the ad or as they even mentioned when I asked....so, as a buyer, I always ask and as a seller, I always answer honestly. I am sure it gets aggravating, but in this day and age, with not too many honest people, you can never be too cautious.
