There are some hints you can try when you come in the door....kneel down to her when getting your "mommy's home" lovin, speak in a soft voice or not at all. (so hard NOT to talk to them when you come in)

With my Duke Was with me he got so excited when I came home he'd pee everywhere. I started just not saying anything at all to him for just a minute or two. enough time to put down the stuff I was carrying but it gave him time to calm down so that when I did greet him he didn't potty.

About the first question, though He was being submissive...Duke didn't often do that but my last memory of him was the morning I left for work and he rolled over and a spent a minute or two rubbing his belly. That was our last time together. and I'm so glad I stopped to notice him.
