Thanks for the good advice.

We do have 2 cats. I was not aware of the 2 pet max for overseas. My husband and I have talked about options for if and when that happens in regards to how we'd handle that as a family though. A lot would depend on the circumstances of his assignment. IF, we did go overseas we have a wonderful family support system. I'm sure one of our family would foster one or more of our pets until our return. So far we've been extremely blessed to have had the stability of 4yrs between assisngments. Hopefully our luck will continue.

I knew the Yorkie was prone to knee problems, among others. The more I read the more it seems that it's more of a when than if scenerio. All we can do is hope for the best and plan for the worst. Having a yorkie in the family can't be all doom and gloom though. There are too many happy and healthy furbaby families. We will keep all these things in mind while we search for our match.

We will be careful. The information here as been wonderful and helped us a great deal.
