When Wes was neutured he was a little groggy for a few hours after getting home. But after that he was his normal self. I tried to keep him from running around and jumping on the couch, but it was no use. He acted like nothing had happened. I worried that he would hurt himself, but he was fine.

But when Maddie was spayed she was in a lot of pain for about 6 days. We gave her pain medicine and she slept pretty much all day for the 6 days. She didn't want to run or play at all during that time.

I would say to not encourage playing, running, jumping. But if your baby feels fine and wants to be a little active then I'm sure he'll be fine. If he's in pain, then he probably won't want to be active at all.
