My maltese had both his lp surgeries last year and my yorkie had her surgery this year.
Ask your Vet about a glucosamine supplement and try as best you can to limit her jumping and running. Normal running isn't so bad it's more those crazy turns they make around the dining room table as you're trying to eat dinner and they're chasing each other!
