I use to think it was dark grey but it is now a light grey and the cleaner lifts any accidents up and out of it too.
Like I said this is not our house--it's crew housing and I don't know what things looked like when new---about 15 years ago.
The cleaner has lifted gunk out of the grout on the bath sink tops as well---it use to be grey but is now nearly white.
