That's what I thought. I don't think my son and daughter-in-law will shave the ear and tape it up. They don't care if it comes up or not. I hope it does, eventually, but it really doesn't matter and it isn't my decision. Here's a picture with one ear up and one ear down. She needs to be groomed, I think, but I don't give advice or make suggestions unless I'm asked. I would be taking her to a groomer and would have her trimmed short and shave and tape the ear. Her coat mats easily and she doesn't like to be brushed. I think they're making it harder for her to learn that she has to be groomed. They love her very much and she gets excellent care, so I'm not going to butt in about grooming or ears.
