aww... isn't punishing them the worst? We had a big Labrador for 13 years and didn't think twice of swatting him with a newspaper or putting him in his dog run if he misbehaved... but with cody, gosh, we couldn't even think of swatting him with a newspaper, he'd go flying across the room!!
and putting him in jail? he sounds like he's being murdered if we put him in his crate...
and then they look at you with those beautiful eyes asking, "you don't really want to put me in here, right? I mean, all I did was pee on your favorite rug after being outside for 20 minutes and chew a hole in your shoes after getting up on the table and jumping all over the beautiful cake you decorated for your uncle's 100th birthday party... but really, I'm so cute that those shoes, the cake, and the rug are actually mine anyway, right?"
