also.. where we got the puppy was from a local lady whos yorkie had puppies. she is not a breeder but seemed to have done her research for raising the little newborn puppies from birth- she has the parents two very small yorkies.. and one other bigger (yet still small breed) of dog-not sure the kind. anyways.. she has 3 kids and has them and there friends in and out of the house. (my mother in law-when she purchased her australian shepard-1and a half years ago, said she had to take of her shoes off before entering where the puppies were or clean them with something special(something like that..) because they could be tracking in parvo. I know the kids and others were around the dogs and who knows what they brought in. She was kept with her brother and sister and always had food, water, comfort, and lots of love..just dont know what her small little body was exposed to without it being known to be a threat to them. When we came to pick her up she was outside on the grass with her mom(yorkie) saying bye and such.. which kinda weirded me out-rolling around in the grass next door?? (i just am putting everything out there on how we got her, etc.) The lady is really nice and i know has done her research and cares alot about the puppies, but does not know EVERYTHING(im sure) about raising the little puppies from birth. kids in and out, etc. Am i being too paranoid? better to be safe than sorry- i am just afraid of something happening to her all of a sudden-like i have heard happening to other tiny yorkie puppies before. Also.. Pet insurance-if you have it-about how much does it cost? im probably annoying you sorry. thanks again though.

The food situation.. I know IAMS was kind of yuck. It definately would not have been my choice of food. but i didnt want to just stop using what she was used to.. so i was planning on changing her over and i was going to start today. I did hear the positive and the negative about the Eukanuba.. the poistive i heard was good though?? but i did just find out about the by-products.. and that is no good-grosses me out thinking about it. and i know corn isnt good for them. do you know where they sell the canidae?? (you like this?? and it is easy for them to chew/swallow??)

AGAIN THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR INFO!! very nice.
