Hi Meg! Congratulations on your little baby girl! She sounds very tiny!

You definitely want to get her on the kibble but i would suggest that you add it gradually to her food now. They love to crunch especially when they are teething so this is a good way to keep their teeth clean and give her the needed chewing pleasure. When you shop for a food, look at the ingredients. There should be
NO CORN, WHEAT OR BY-PRODUCTS. If you click the link below, go to the pet tab...there you can compare several of the more popular brands to see what is in them and what's not in them. You can also order some free samples there. We love this food and it is for puppies and adults. It is also delivered to your door, which we love for the convenience.

The kibbles are tiny too so they can chew them up easily. I had that problem with so many other foods that my girls couldn't bite them since the kibble size was too large. This one is flat so is very easy for the tiny little mouths. My Princess is almost 3 lbs. and she doesn't have any trouble chewing these up and all my dogs love it. i used to have to mix in something to get them to eat their other kibbles but these they eat by itself which is much healthier.
You will want to get your baby on the best food available so that she will have a long healthy life!! With all the dog food recalls, you need to be very careful what you buy and where it comes from and especially WHAT'S IN IT!!
If you have any questions, i'll be happy to answer them for you.
