Yes, raw is almost all meat, but it's RAW meat which means there is a lot of moisture in the food. It's not concentrated cooked meat so that's why it's not as high in protein as you think it would be. The dry grain free foods don't have the moisture that canned and raw have so the animals have to drink a lot more water to get that moisture they need.
