how do you put a onsie on? Tia got spayed 2 days ago and the "lampshade" is not working out. I came home from work today and in the couple of hours that she was alone (my husbnd was home for part of the day) I see her greeting me happily in the hallway - sans-cone! I found it by her bed, the outer-edge chewed mercilessly. It's also her new toy that she loves to carry while I chase her around the house ("Not gonna put this back on me mom!")
I had bought a onsie for her, and I don't know what to do with the snaps that would be at the baby's crotch. Do you snap all 3 and leave her tail inside? Keep the middle snap open for her tail to come out? She picks at the snaps and I'm wondering if it's because there is no logical place for her tail to go (it is docked). Well, I'd rather she picked at her snaps that licked her stitches.
Poor Tia! When she was wearing her cone last night and walking past the bed, a corner of my comforter got caught on her cone and she couldn't figure out why she couldn't walk forward. Poor thing needs her dignity back, so if anyone can help, that would be great!
