This has been such great info on "being in season". Schatzie being almost 9 months now from what I can see has not come in yet. She however is licking a lot, much much more than she normally does but I have yet to see any bleeding. From what I have read from the above posts I can expect it any day.
I wanted to get her spayed soon but she is having surgery this friday for something else and the vet said he will not spay her while she is under since it would be too much on her. I don't want her to go through two surgeries in one year so Im guessing I will wait till next year.
WOW - that could be a lot of heat cycles that I will be experiencing with her!!
But I guess I am just too afraid to have double surgeries.
