Everything sounds great. 97 temp is fine, nothing to worry about. I personally don't give tums or any calcium supplements until whelping time. That way, her own body is producing enough for contractions. Then I supplement when the need comes for extra. Their body doesn't think they need to make it if it's being given to them 2 times a day. This is just what I do, after reading much about hypocalcemia. I hope today's the day for you guys.
