I believe that the answer to dry skin is related to the kibbles that your yorkie is eating. My Alyssa had extremely dry skin and a lot of allergies. She was eating Royal Canin Yorkshire Food. I changed her to Canidae on April l3th of this year. After less than a week on the new food her skin stopped itching and she stopped scratching. Her fur took on a healthy look and her energy level doubled. She loves the Canidae and I love what it has done to improve her allergies and her shiny fur. She looks like a different dog.
