We saw our first frog of the summer last night and of course Lacy just went crazy wanting to get to it. The first summer I had Lacy she attacked a frog and started foaming at the mouth. I freaked out and called the emergency vet and told them what was happening. They asked me to describe the frog. The told me the only poisonous ones around were toads as big as plates and this one ws only about the size of my fist. They told me that frogs secrete things through their skin and the taste made her foam at the mouth. They told me she should be fine but to watch her and if anythign changed to bring her in. Well the next summer she got another frog...you'd think she'd learn the first time but at least this time I knew she was fine.
