one of our friend, had a female yorkie and she had no idea that she was pregnant, she took her dog to the vet twice last week, she took the dog in for check up and for shots, the dog has been gaining alot of weight within 2 months, so she was concerned and ask the vet to also do a check up on the dog. the first time, all the vet said was to cut the dog's food, and then she took her dog in again after 3 days because her dog was vomitting, and the doctor gave the dog 2 shots and sent her home. 2 days later, her dog gave birth to 3 pre-mature puppies and none of them made it.
My friend called the vet, and the vet said since my friend didn't tell her that her dog was pregnent, the vet wouldn't have known. |
