I started a thread on this exact same thing when I first got Mugzy. After different suggestions, I immediately got a BABY GATE for the front door. I can't trust my kids, and Mugzy's still too little to be reliable, so I feel alot safer. He has also tried to run out our deck door (that leads to the street also), buuuuuuttttttt, I squirted him with the hose (I was watering plants at the time) and now he's very leery of coming near that door
