You are very lucky that your puppy was only starved, and not sick. And within standard weight, no less.
Well actually in my case my boy was soon diagnosed with Leg Perthes.
This all happened about a year ago and about 6 months ago I posted about it along with the address of the website when I first joined on to yorkietalk. but I have been hearing and seeing this alot in pet stores and internet breeders so I wanted to bring up my past experience.

I just visited the website that I bought my boy from today ( It's been awhile since I have done so) and it states in very large font that Don Montergery does not sell puppies on their website anymore. So apparently I wasn't his only unsatified customer.
