I'd call your vet and check. On one hand, I think the socialization would be a good thing. My only fear would be if there are any health risks at such a young age and without all his shots.

We took Eddie on a two-week car-camping trip when he was 10 or 11 weeks, and it was a great experience. He learned to love car rides, he learned not to be scared of strange sleeping arrangements, unfamiliar people and places. I think it did him a world of good.

But I never checked with a vet beforehand. It might not have been the wisest thing to do.

If you do take him, be sure to bring some Nutrical. If he gets nervous and refuses to eat, that will give him some needed calories. It's a high-energy paste.
