I know what you mean this used to happen to me too when I would get them done before prom and then tan...
My aunt does nails though and if you don't want them to turn yellow in the sun/tanning bed she uses these strip things, I'm not sure what they are. Actually they stayed on longer than the acrylic nails (and I played basketball and showed steers and everything in them)...
