i didn't want to collar edgar, but i have both our dogs collared with tags that have my phone number on them. this is mainly because he's a bolter, a digger, and a houdini.
they really only make noise when he's scratching.

i have had a few people pick him up and carry him down the street (when i haven't noticed immediately that he's missing) and it ticks me off that since he's so small they think nothing of taking him home!!

luckily he seems to be outgrowing this stage (he's a bit past 2 now)
