Yes, that is what I am saying. They will associate the open area with activity and their crate with the bed if they sleep in it all day...If you have a way to barricade the puppy in an uncarpeted room and not behind a door--they will chew wood, walls, bottoms of doors, and anything else they can wrap their teeth around...
That might not work for others but it has for me for many dogs...sometimes, we have to outsmart these furbabies.. |
