my little 2 cents
i think its a loose loose situration
its sad but i dont think that the cycle will truly end, and letting the puppies possibly suffer to make a point isnt worth it either.
theres too much demand for puppies and money makes the world go round.
200 of us refusing to buy from the local pet stores, there's 400 more that are willing to by from pet stores.
also there is the local shelters that is also a never ending cycle and sadly i just dont think there will ever be any major changes. i hope i not coming out negative on the prospect of stopping puppy mills and the likes..buts it people vs $, and money always wins.
the only thing that might start a dent in this area, is banding breeding, but then you'll have people outraged at that.
i think that if someone has the space, time and money to get/rescue the puppy, they should. its still a living, loving sweet animal and if someone here doesnt get then someone else will. which will still keep the cycle opened. and i rather see the puppy go to someone on yt with the knowledge to take care and love the pup.
