Just remember the term puppy cut is just a generic term that means take some hair off!! You need to know and be able to tell the groomer how long you want the body coat to be and how long you want the legs to be and how long you want the hair around the face to be scissored. Don't just go in and ask for a puppy cut and then not be happy when you pick your dog up. Here is a picture of a soft coated yorkie after getting her puppy cut, her ears do not stand but I tip them anyway, this is how her mom wants her groomed.

Anyone have any pictures of puppy cuts?-heidi.jpg

The second picture are two more puppy cuts one with a top knot and one with out, These are on silk coats the look is a bit different.
