Spencer did the same thing for awhile, so I bought him a little ring toy and it has bells in the corners and i shake it and he takes it and rolls around with it. He also started playing with one of my old stuffed animals and he always plays with that now lol, you could also try little squeaky toys and see if the works. all the best to you
