 Will the Coloring and Coat ever change???
I know there are so many people on here with years and years of experiance with the Yorkshire Terrier breed so Im hoping I can get some good answers... Anyway, Bailey is almost 8 months now and she still hasnt turned color. Shes Gold and Black I have noticed a FEW little greyish hairs comming up from the top of her head and a few on her chest but not many at all. Her coat is getting longer I would say its between 2 - 2 1/2 inches long on her back. I would say her coat is either cottony or silky. Bailey is my first yorkie so im not so sure how long the coat takes to change (i have heard it can take up to 2 years) but I see other dogs on here with the steel blue or tan coats and I keep wondering when bailey will look like that or if she ever will. Her parents were VERY silver however her grandparents never changed color (they are still black and gold) Does anyone have an idea of what my girl might look like? I would love to see pictures of some of your babies at around 6-9 mo and then how they look as an adult. I will put some pictures of her up so you can see what she looks like. |
